Meet the Team

A local guy with more than a decade in the industry, Josh is excited to launch The Josh Statham Group in 2023.  Following three consecutive years as the top producing agent in Powell River, forming a team was the logical progression for Josh’s proven real estate selling techniques.  A skilled negotiator with strong communication and marketing skills, Josh has become the go-to agent for homeowners.  His high-tech suite of real estate marketing tools can help you maximize your sales results, and his local knowledge and years of experience are an asset when searching for the right home.  Powell River shapes most of his family’s recreation time.  Outside of real estate Josh and his wife Elise and daughters Claire and Audrey can be found camping, boating, fishing or hiking in the outdoor paradise that surrounds Powell River.

Elise joined Josh in the family business in 2016 after the birth of their second daughter.  Her strong administrative skills keep the team in the field doing what they do best. Originally from Southern Ontario, Elise moved to Powell River in 2007 as the marketer for the local junior hockey team.  Her move to BC was rooted in a dream of working at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, which she realized while volunteering at Rogers Arena for men’s and women’s ice hockey.  She has a degree in communications from Laurier and grew up working in her family’s greenhouses.  A third-generation grower, her seasonal flower boxes are the envy of the neighbourhood.  She is actively involved in her daughter’s school and minor hockey, and enjoys cooking, art, piano and the outdoors.

Frances discovered Powell River while photographing a wedding. It wasn’t long after that she and her family relocated from Surrey. With a background in photography, Frances joined Josh in 2019 as his full-time marketer. Her creative talents help bring listings to life with 3D imaging, floor plans, HD video and photography. Over the years she has developed and coordinated brand management, advertising and graphic design for this dynamic real estate group. Her strong multi-media capabilities ensure your home is showcased to its full potential. Her, Matt, Piper and Diggory have sailed internationally and enjoy the coastal setting of this region.

Andrew Roddan is proud to be a born and raised Powell River local. After spending some years on Vancouver Island and in Whistler he has returned as a realtor to share this feeling of coming home with his clients. With easy access to the backcountry, a vibrant performing arts scene and a more relaxed pace of life it's hard not to love Powell River. When he's not hustling for his clients you can find Andrew riding his mountain bike, building and maintaining trails, or playing music.

Johanna grew up in Vancouver, and is proud to call Powell River home after time spent living in Victoria and Whistler. She graduated in 2021 with a degree in marketing and started her career in Whistler as a marketing manager for a festival and events company. Johanna now owns Motive Media, a digital marketing and branding agency and is passionate about helping businesses reach their full potential. In her off time, she enjoys mountain biking and painting.
